What is a Dual Degree?

UNYP uniquely offers students the ability to receive both an American and a European accredited degree when they enroll in the American bachelor’s program at UNYP. Students who enroll in the American bachelor’s program can choose to major/concentrate in Business Administration, Communication and Media, International Relations, or Psychology and have the option of sitting for the Czech state exams upon completion of their program. After meeting all requirements for the American program and completing the Czech State exams, students will be eligible to graduate with two separate degrees: one from the State University of New York, Empire State University, and one from the University of New York in Prague. All UNYP degree programs accredited by MŠMT will issue a diploma in the blockchain format and a traditional diploma.

Why should I study for a Dual Degree at UNYP?

• After completing the American program, your degree is awarded by the State University of New York, Empire State University, part of the largest comprehensive state university system in the United States.
• The State University of New York, Empire State University degree is recognized worldwide by American and international companies and graduate schools.
• The American and European degrees can be completed within the four-year program, adding no additional semesters or tuition.
• Earning a degree accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports allows graduates the right to work in the Czech Republic.

The European Bachelor’s Program in Business Administration
is currently under reaccreditation and cannot accept new applications
until the reaccreditation process has been completed.
