The past few years have marked UNYP’s evolution into a research-focused institution.
Faculty members dedicate considerable time to research, including publishing and participating in European and international projects. UNYP also actively collaborates with international partners on various research initiatives.
Dr. Iveta Hlouchová, UNYP’s Research Manager, leads institution-wide research and manages the university’s research portfolio.
She collaborates with School Research Leads (SRLs), handles relationships with funding agencies and research partners, and oversees the UNYP research database and RIV input.
Dr. Hlouchová approves Research Reward and Support applications, liaises with the Czech Ministry of Education, and facilitates research opportunities within the Czech Republic and the region. She also organizes research events and conferences at UNYP.

UNYP’s Research Vision for 2024-2029 is captured in a document emphasizing the university’s commitment to becoming a respected regional research institution.
Key goals include fostering international collaborations, increasing research output, engaging in prestigious conferences, securing grants, and involving students in research.
