H.E. Detlef Lingemann, Ambassador of Germany to the Czech Republic, visited the University of New York in Prague on the 26th February to deliver a lecture on “Czech-German Relations”.
In front of a crowded room the ambassador defined the relations between these two countries as very positive, the best relations in history. Ambassador Lingemann outlined the economic, cultural and societal interchanges between the two communities and described how relations have improved since 1989. The presentation was followed by a round of questions and answers with an audience interested in both the work of the ambassador in the Czech Republic and more general issues regarding the role that the German diplomacy plays in today’s world. The lecture was part of UNYP’s regular guest lecture series (PULSE) and we hope that you will join us for future events. The next PULSE lecture will take place on March 6 with the presence prof. Mike Smith that will talk on the theme of, “What Every CEO Should Know About Crisis Communication.”
