Who We Are

The University of New York in Prague (UNYP), established in 1998, offers American- and European-accredited university degrees entirely in English, right in the heart of Prague.

With a longstanding partnership with the State University of New York, and Empire State University, UNYP has become one of the largest English-language higher education institutions in the Czech Republic.

UNYP offers a variety of Graduate-level programs in English that can help students carry on with their studies, specialize in a specific career field, or advance in their careers.

These programs are highlighted by a Master’s in Psychology, an MBA, and a Master’s in Digital Marketing and Analytics offered in partnership with Dublin Business School (DBS).

Our Faculty

UNYP boasts the most diverse and international faculty in the Czech Republic.

An impressive 79% of our faculty hold a Ph.D., equivalent qualifications, or terminal professional degrees, ensuring top-tier education.

Our student residences are conveniently located less than 200 meters from the main building.

The UNYP library is one of the largest English-language libraries in the Czech Republic, housing over 17,000 publications.
