Juan Pablo Maldonado Lopez

Dr. Maldonado teaches IT and Mathematics related subjects, including Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. His career revolves around education, technology, and entrepreneurship. As a management consultant for a Big 4 consultancy, he worked for clients like Raiffeisen Bank, T-Mobile, UBS and Habib Bank in projects related to pricing, anti-money laundering and financial crime analytics. As an entrepreneur, he has helped the Czech start-up FaceUp Technology to expand into the Mexican market, creating channel partnerships and coordinating the sales, marketing, and business development operations. Besides teaching at UNYP, he provides training and consultancy to companies across the world. Previous training clients include the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, the Australian Health Ministry in Canberra, Groupe La Poste in Paris, A1 Telekom in Vienna, and Huawei R&D in Munich.
