Admissions Overview

The Admissions Department at the University of New York in Prague is dedicated to guiding prospective students through our holistic application process.

We assist applicants in exploring program options, submitting applications, and preparing necessary documents.

Additionally, we coordinate interviews and provide support for visa applications when needed.

Throughout the admissions journey, we are glad to answer questions and offer personalized assistance to help students achieve their academic and professional objectives.

8 Steps to Apply to UNYP

Explore Your Program Options (#1)

Review the programs on our website and choose the one that best aligns with your interests and goals.

Submit Your Application (#2)
  • Complete the online application form on the UNYP website: https://application.unyp.cz/
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Your Admission advisor will be notified you applied and they will reach out to you to discuss any questions and process the application that you submitted.
Documents to upload for the Application Process (#3)
  • High school diploma and transcript (for undergraduate programs) or Bachelor’s degree and transcript (for graduate programs).
  • English proficiency test results (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS) if you studied in English you are exempted.
  • CV/Resume (for some programs).
  • Motivation letter
  • Letter of Recommendation
Attend an Interview (#4)

This is a 30-minute online interview with the dean of the chosen program you applied for.

Receive an Admissions Decision (#5)

The admissions team will review your application and inform you of the decision.

Confirm Your Place (#6)

Accept your offer by signing the student contract and paying the tuition deposit to secure your spot.

Apply for a Visa (if Necessary) (#7)

Non-EU students will need to apply for a long-term student visa. UNYP assists with this process.

Prepare for Enrollment (#8)

Receive orientation details, finalize payments, and get ready to join the UNYP community!

If necessary, talk to the nostrification manager to help you through the nostrification process.
