For a few weeks, you can enroll in short programs relating to your major, while joining a vibrant international community, building connections and friendships that span the world.

A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 with at least 1 completed semester of college.
If your GPA is lower, contact your home university coordinator for further details.

Required application documents:
- A motivation letter (written in English – max. 400 words)
- Name of high school and your graduation year
- Official University Transcript
- Letter from your home University confirming English language ability (waived for native speakers of English) or English language certificate (for further details https://www.unyp.cz/admissions-requirements/)
- Copy of ID or passport (plus digital passport photo)
  - Your passport must be valid for at least the duration of the program +3 months.

Included in the Short-term Program fee:

- 3 US credits for Winter/ Summer programs (1 course)

Visa Support (US citizens do not need visa for up to 90 days stay)

After being Accepted to Short term programs at UNYP you will need to follow with these steps:

Review and sign Study Abroad contract
Complete the Study Abroad program deposit ($500)
- Deposit can be made through UNYP’s online payment portal (https://application.unyp.cz/online-payment)
- You will need to attach your UNYP Student ID number to your deposit payment. You can find your UNYP Student ID number on your Study Abroad Contract in the top right corner of the first page.
Submit the Course Selection form to UNYP
- Be sure that your home university has approved each of the courses that you list on the Course Selection sheet. This will ensure that the courses you enroll in at UNYP will transfer back towards your degree at your home university. For more information see section „Courses“.
Provide UNYP with your preferred mailing address (cge@unyp.cz)
- UNYP must ship to you some documents for your visa application. The address that you provide to UNYP as your preferred mailing address is the address where we will send your visa documents.
Provide UNYP with a passport-style photo of yourself (cge@unyp.cz)
- We will use this photo for your UNYP Student ID Card and for your Prague transportation pass. The photo must be taken according to passport-photo requirements (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/photos.html)
Prepare the necessary visa documents (see your Czech Embassy’s website for full details on properly submitting these documents) IF YOU ARE NON-EU CITIZEN.

Complete 25% Program Payment (one month before the program)
Obtain UNYP Login Credentials for: Email, E-Learning, E-GNOMON
Join UNYP Visiting Students Facebook Group and WhatsApp chat
Send to UNYP your flight details for arrival and departure (cge@unyp.cz)
Inform UNYP once visa approved – if applicable (cge@unyp.cz)
Complete 75% Program Payment (one week before the program)
Arrive in Prague on Arrival Day
Check in to Orientation Day at UNYP

Students are required to take 1 course 3 US Credits*
Once you submit your Study abroad application, UNYP Student Mobility Academic Manager will contact you, and send you a link to our current course list and guide you throughout the course registration process.

*If you wish to take two courses, please let the UNYP CGE office know as you will be charged an additional fee for an extra course.

The UNYP study abroad program includes accommodation at one of the three following Student residences. Students will be placed into housing by UNYP, placements will be made according to availability of rooms. All these residences are in a close proximity of UNYP. The rooms are well equipped and have a free Wi-Fi. They also provide students with great additional facilities.

Belgicka Apartments

Belgicka Apartments is located only 100 meters from UNYP’s main campus. It offers double rooms in renovated student apartments. Each apartment has its own bathroom and kitchen.

Student House Botic

Student House Botic is located only 8 minutes away from UNYP by tram. It offers double rooms with bathroom. Kitchen is located on every floor, but each room has its own fridge and kettle.

ZEITRAUM Student Housing

This provider offers dormitory style student housing that is easily accessible by public transportation. The housing is located in nice residential area of the city.
