Prezident SUNY Empire State College Jim Malatras podepsal při své návštěvě v Praze 21. února 2020 novou partnerskou smlouvu s generálním ředitelem UNYP Sotirisem Foutsisem. Na základě této smlouvy budou mít studenti SUNY Empire State College přístup k novým zahraničním a výměnným programům mezi New Yorkem a Českou republikou a budou moci využít širokou škálu vzdělávacích možností, jak zažít Prahu.
