Address from UNYP’s General Manager

Dear UNYP Community,

This morning we all woke to the unfortunate reality of an armed engagement in Europe.  It is with a heavy heart that I write such a letter to all of you, our students, faculty, staff, and Alumni, and urge you all to embrace calm and collective unity. 

As a community that represents more than 90 nationalities, it is without a doubt that some or many of you will be affected personally by this tragic situation, and that emotions will run high. We are proud of our diverse international community here at UNYP, and we will continue to maintain our multicultural traditions and always strive for understanding and mutual respect within and outside our direct community. 

We would like to assure our students that we will not allow any global conflict to upset or disrupt the peace and cooperation we have fostered for more than 20 years at the University.  Your studies and ability to study at UNYP will be unaffected, and we will do all we can to remain a foundation of calm for all of you in these troubling times. 

We look forward to a swift and peaceful end to this situation in the coming days, and we remain at your service to support your academic and educational needs in these troubling times.
