Alumni Spotlight: Amit Grinvald’s Masterclass in Communication at UNYP

In a warmly lit auditorium filled with eager minds, the University of New York in Prague (UNYP) welcomed back one of its distinguished alumni, Amit Grinvald, for a lecture that promised to delve into the intricacies of effective communication. Amit, who is a co-organizer of TEDxUNYP, brought to the table a wealth of experience and insights into the art of communication, storytelling, and public speaking.

The lecture kicked off with Amit addressing the foundational element of effective communication: storytelling. He explained how storytelling is not just an art but a strategic tool that, when wielded correctly, can captivate and engage audiences of all sizes. Amit shared his own experiences, highlighting how personal stories and authenticity can significantly amplify the impact of a message.

As the evening progressed, Amit tackled one of the most common hurdles in the field of communication—overcoming public speaking nerves. With practical advice and interactive exercises, he shared techniques to transform anxiety into energy, enabling speakers to present confidently and connect deeply with their audience.
