The International Student Psychological Days (MSPD) 2024

On April 4th and 5th, 2024, the University of New York in Prague (UNYP) had the great honor of hosting the 23rd annual academic competition — the International Student Psychological Days (MSPD) 2024. This prestigious scientific conference was attended by students enrolled in bachelor’s and master’s programs in psychology. Throughout the event, contributions from departmental and faculty stages of competitions at Czech and Slovak universities were showcased. These works competed for the title of the best scientific paper at the national levels in Czechia and Slovakia, and at the international level.

The primary objectives of the conference included presenting research findings across various domains of psychology, fostering the exchange of knowledge and experiences derived from theoretical inquiry and empirical research, deliberating on conclusions drawn from scientific investigations, and engaging with contemporary societal issues.

Significantly, this 23rd iteration marked the first occasion for students to present their contributions in English, opening up great opportunities for UNYP students in the coming years. During the next academic year, a departmental competition will be held, and the winners will have the opportunity to present their work at Comenius University in Bratislava. We hope to continue this long tradition of academic excellence and collaboration, further solidifying our commitment to fostering a vibrant community of aspiring psychologists.
