UNYP Psychology Students Advance to the Next Round of SVOČ

The University of New York in Prague (UNYP) proudly announces the successful completion of the university-level round of the SVOČ (Students’ Scientific and Professional Activities) competition in Psychology. The event, held on campus, showcased the outstanding research and presentation skills of ten undergraduate psychology students, each of whom delivered original and insightful projects.

The evaluators, comprised of faculty members and psychology professionals, praised the overall quality of the work presented, noting that it was a challenge to select the top two finalists due to the high caliber of each presentation. The competition highlighted the academic rigor and dedication of UNYP students to advancing psychological science.

Beyond the academic excellence, the event was marked by a strong sense of community. Students supported one another throughout the day, contributing to a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere. The positive group dynamic and professional yet friendly environment reflected the spirit of UNYP’s psychology department.

We are thrilled to share that the two top-scoring projects will represent UNYP at the International Student Psychology Days in Bratislava on April 24–25. This next stage of the competition will bring together top psychology students from across Central Europe to share their work and engage with the wider academic community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants, evaluators, and organizers who contributed their time, effort, and expertise to make this event such a success. We are excited to cheer on our finalists in Bratislava and celebrate their continued academic journey.
