Andreas Antonopoulos, M.Eng., MBA, Ph.D.

Dr. Andreas Antonopoulos is the Rector of the University of New York in Prague (UNYP). He teaches entrepreneurship courses at UNYP and in various MBA programs worldwide, and frequently delivers seminars and guest lectures on related topics. With over 25 years of experience spanning academia, entrepreneurship, investment, and corporate sectors, Dr. Antonopoulos is also a partner at Venture Growth Angel Partners, an early-stage investment fund.

Before joining UNYP, Dr. Antonopoulos held a senior executive position at Central European University and served in various senior and mid-level management roles in leading telecommunications companies, including RHK, Lucent Technologies, Nortel Networks, and British Telecom. His career has taken him to Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Philippines, Romania, Singapore, Spain, the UK, and the US, and he is proficient in six languages.
