Enrico Patrono

Research Assistant with extensive experience in neurophysiology and neurobiology of psychiatric disorders. I have considerable experience in multicultural teams, having spent much of my career abroad (Brazil, Spain, Japan, and the Czech Republic). I specialized in animal models of psychiatric disorders with extensive knowledge of methodologies such as "in vivo" optogenetics and chemogenetics, "in vitro" opto-electrophysiology, immunohistochemistry, confocal microscopy, and molecular genetics approaches. In addition, I have acquired a 15-year experience teaching Neurobiology and Neurophysiology in several countries (Italy, Brazil, Spain, Japan, and the Czech Republic).
