Todd Nesbitt

Dr. Nesbitt earned his bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and a letter of equivalency in English from the University of Windsor, Canada. He continued his studies at the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism at the faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University in Prague, earning a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication, followed by a Ph.D. in Media Studies. He has taught courses at the faculties of Law, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Charles University, and is a recipient of the outstanding faculty award for excellence in teaching at UNYP. He led the Communication and Media department at UNYP as Chair until 2018, and presided over accreditation and development. Since 2018 he has served as Dean of the School of Communication and Media, which includes the Digital Media Arts and English Language and Literature degree programs. In 2022 he became Dean of Research and Development at the University of New York in Prague, where he directs strategic initiatives in institutional research.
