Hieu Nguyen

Hieu Nguyen is from Vietnam and she is currently a 4th year Ph.D. candidate at CERGE-EI, Czechia. She received a Master of Arts in Economics from CERGE-EI in 2022 and graduated with a Master of Science in International Investment and Finance from Bournemouth University, UK in 2016. Her research interests are mainly in environmental economics and political economics, with the focus on developing countries. I am also eager to conduct the research in other fields of development economics and financial economics. She has experiences working in both academia and industries. Particularly, she taught Statistics and Microeconomics at RMIT University and also worked as a financial analyst in a securities company in Vietnam. When in Czechia, besides her study, she has taught several economics courses at CERGE-EI and IES.
