Professor Sotiris Karagiannis has over 25 years of experience as an academic lecturer and corporate trainer. He holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the American College of Greece, a Master’s in Education from Lesley University in Boston, and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
Early in his career, he worked in HR at Hellenic Shipyards and in the packaging industry before transitioning to education. At the University of Sunderland, he managed the Athens-based BSc in Business Studies and MBA programs, teaching Management, Leadership, and HR courses.
For the past seven years, he has been the Director at the University of New York in Prague, overseeing Master’s programs and teaching Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and Cross-Cultural Management. He also teaches Sales and Operations Management at UNYT.
As a corporate trainer, he has extensive experience in soft-skills development, working with top companies like Apple, Bayer, 3M, Novartis, and Oracle. His training focuses on leadership, negotiations, sales, customer service, and presentation skills.
Professor Karagiannis combines industry experience with interactive teaching methods, emphasizing engagement and practical application. His research focuses on leadership, cultural change, and strategy transformation. He regularly supervises Master’s theses at UNYP, the University of Greenwich, and the University of Central Lancashire. As a consultant, he specializes in Organizational Culture Change, helping companies plan with confidence.
