Professor David Anthony Procházka is a university lecturer, researcher, and advocate for critical thinking and evidence-based management. His work applies scientific principles to decision-making in business, policy, and technology.

He founded the Research Club at the Faculty of Business Administration (FPH) at the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE), fostering rigorous, evidence-based research. He also leads the Centre for Evidence-Based Management, promoting research-driven approaches in business and public policy. His academic background spans entrepreneurship, cognitive psychology (University of Cambridge), business economics (FPH VŠE), and bioethics (First Faculty of Medicine), with a focus on AI ethics and social robotics. His research interests include decision-making, cognitive biases, and AI's impact on human judgment and ethics.

Professor Procházka is affiliated with the Academy of Management, The Society for Judgment and Decision Making, and is a Fellow of the Center for Evidence-Based Management. He is involved in four major research projects, including collaborations with the Czech Academy of Sciences, NATO, and the University of Defence (UNOB), focusing on technology, decision-making, and security.

Beyond research, he helps shape AI and technology policy as a member of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic's Expert Group, the Karel Čapek Center, and the Council for AI and Robotics under the Ministry of Defense.

He also serves in the active reserves of the Czech Armed Forces, reflecting his commitment to national security and evidence-based defense strategies.
