Lea is a PhD candidate in Neuroscience at the 3rd Medical Faculty, exploring the different aspects of Schizophrenia spectrum disorder, including brain imaging studies and the exploration of gut microbiome changes. During her Master's studies, she has worked on a number of projects in neuropsychological assessment and clinical/health psychology. As part of her research training, she was part of the Junior Researcher Programme and has completed a research internship at the University of Cambridge translating insights in psychology into impactful resources for policy-makers. She has since published peer-reviewed articles on topics related to financial literacy of adolescents, neuropsychological batteries, cognition and perception in traffic, personality psychology, and public health. She has presented her work at numerous international conferences, held workshops and talks at universities, and has been part of international and interdisciplinary research groups.
She is currently working as a consultant in the fields of HR and customer experience design, specializing in workplace personality assessment and human-centered design.
