What is a Dual Degree?

UNYP offers students the unique chance to earn both an American and Czech-accredited degree through its American bachelor’s program. Majors in Communication and Media or International Relations can further enhance their qualifications upon completing the Czech state exams. By meeting the American program requirements and passing these exams, students graduate with two degrees: one from the State University of New York, Empire State University, and another from the University of New York in Prague. All Czech Ministry-accredited programs at UNYP issue both a traditional diploma and a blockchain-formatted diploma.

Why should I study for a Dual Degree at UNYP?

• Upon completing the American program, you’ll earn a degree from the State University of New York, Empire State University, part of the largest public university system in the U.S.
• This degree is globally recognized by employers and graduate schools worldwide.
• Both American and European degrees can be completed within four years, with no extra semesters or tuition required.
• A degree accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports also grants graduates the right to work in the Czech Republic.
