COVID 19 has brought about a paradigmatic shift in all dimensions. While turning to online mode was highly expected to align with the demands of Industry 4.0, the turn was phenomenally abrupt. Literally, overnight, every business was forced to redesign its strategies, reconsidering its positioning in markets, turning homes into working spaces, and meeting clients from a distance. MBA programs could not have remained untouched, moving partly or fully to online delivery; However, an even bigger challenge has arisen- is there really a demand for what the traditional MBA offers to students and industries today? Historically, MBA programs have always promised an up-to-date education on burning business topics and membership to prestigious networks with job opportunities. But can they fulfill their promises in the foreseeable future?
