Undergraduate Programs

Earn an Accredited Bachelor’s Degree

Students can earn an accredited European bachelor’s degree from University of New York in Prague and/or an American bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) — Empire State University. Either or both: The choice is yours.

Flexible Study Options

UNYP with Empire State offers a range of majors and concentrations, allowing students to focus on their areas of interest while pursuing their degrees. The programs are designed to accommodate both local and international students.

Study Abroad and Transfer Students

Study abroad and transfer students are welcome to apply. For more information, contact our Admissions team at admissions@unyp.cz. Transfer students can apply to have their previous studies evaluated (transfer credit evaluation). If approved, the coursework may be accepted towards their degree.

Undergraduate Academic Programs

The following undergraduate academic programs are available:

American Degrees

When you earn a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) — Empire State University, the degree will specify the academic title, such as Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.). The degree will also list the specific area of study or major. These bachelor’s degree programs typically take four years to complete.

European Degrees*

UNYP offers accredited Bachelor’s programs taught entirely in English, leading to the award of a Czech Bachelor’s degree (bakalář) from UNYP. This program can be completed in three years.

Bachelor of Business Administration

Dual Degrees*

Concentrations/majors may be taken in pursuance of a dual degree leading to the award of a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Empire State University, and a Czech-accredited bachelor’s degree from UNYP. All concentrations apply to the European, Czech-accredited degree, and will be listed on the final degree supplement. This program can be completed in four years.

American Bachelor in Business Administration and European Bachelor in Business Administration

*As the European Bachelor in Business Administration and Psychology are at different stages in the reaccreditation process, we cannot accept new applications for these programs at this time.
