Scholarships & Financial Aid

Should you have any questions related to Scholarships and Financial Aid that are not addressed below, please contact the UNYP Admissions team (admissions@unyp.cz), who will be delighted to assist you.

  • Enroll as a full-time student for at least one year, including transfer students.

Application Process:

  • The referrer must personally introduce the new student to the Admissions Office or ensure the new student provides their name and student ID when first contacting UNYP.
  • The new student must apply directly, not through an educational consultant (agent).

Award Conditions:

  • The award is credited after the new student’s second Drop and Add period, provided they have fully paid their tuition or installment plan.
  • The referring student must be active during that semester.
  • The award can be applied to tuition or refunded if the referring student graduates in the following semester.

This incentive does not apply to students referred via educational consultants (agents).

For more information, please contact the UNYP Admissions team (admissions@unyp.cz).

UNYP provides Tuition Payment Plans, allowing students to divide their tuition into equal monthly payments over the semester. These plans include a small installment fee, calculated as a percentage of the remaining tuition—2% for daily programs and 3% for weekend programs. Payment plans are available for all UNYP study programs.

Scholarship & Financial Aid Guidelines

  • All Merit Scholarships, Awards, and Tuition Discounts must be applied for and approved before the start of the applicant’s accepted program.
  • Scholarships, awards, and discounts are only applicable to courses and credits offered directly by UNYP and do not apply to those provided by partner universities (e.g., SUNY Empire State University).
  • If a student qualifies for another tuition waiver or scholarship (such as the Graduate Scholarship), the early payment discount will be applied first, followed by the additional waiver.
  • Tuition waivers cannot be combined, except when used with the early payment discount.
  • For scholarship applications, only the results of the first exam will be considered.
