Housing Options for Freshmen Students in Prague

If you’re a first-year student moving to Prague, several housing options are available to help you settle in comfortably. These accommodations are especially popular with newcomers, so rooms tend to fill quickly. We recommend booking your housing early to secure your preferred room type.

While students can choose the type of room they prefer (single or shared), please note that the building management will assign you to an available apartment—you won’t be able to choose the exact unit or location within the building.

These housing options are not traditional student dormitories but private or semi-private apartments offering more independence than typical campus housing. This setup is ideal for students looking for a more self-sufficient living experience while still being connected to a community of fellow students.

Some apartments may come fully furnished, including utilities, internet access, and laundry facilities, but offerings vary by building. Be sure to check the details of each option when booking.

Belgicka Apartments

Rooms are located in apartments of 2, 3, or 4 separate rooms. Belgická Apartments is located very close to UNYP, just a 4-minute walk.

Minimum booking period: 2 semesters

Modern accommodation in single rooms in a renovated building, located in a quiet environment providing students with all the services necessary for study and relaxation. 30- 35 minutes from UNYP.

The Fizz Prague
