There are currently more forms of media than at any previous time in human history, which means that Media Marketing is a complex and multi-faceted field. Traditional print, radio and television marketing still exist, but they have been augmented by online marketing, which started with email and search engine marketing, and has subsequently evolved to encompass new forms such as social media marketing, mobile marketing, and influencer marketing.
The Media Marketing concentration at the University of New York in Prague primes students for careers in the fast-paced, creative world of advertising, developing, and selling products, from niche audiences to mass markets. Communication and Media graduates with this concentration will find themselves qualified for many creative and strategic jobs in the communication industry.
To be eligible for the Communications and Media degree with a Media Marketing concentration, the student must be enrolled in the State University of New York, Empire State University and UNYP Dual degree program. To obtain the concentration in Media Marketing, students must obtain 12 credits (24 ECTS credits) in courses from the list of the concentration subjects; select a topic for the bachelor thesis in a topic related to the concentration focus; and succeed in the Czech State Exam and earning the UNYP bachelor’s degree. The name of the concentration will appear in the UNYP Diploma Supplement along with the specification of the Major.
