In addiiton to teaching at UNYP, Dr. Webel has also recently taught in the Honors Program and Peace Studies at Chapman University and the University of California at Berkeley. He has also lectured at Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford, among other distinguished universities, and is a five-time Fulbright Scholar, most recently at universities in New Zealand and Burma. Dr. Webel has published many scholarly articles as well as 10 different books, including the 5th edition of Peace and Conflict Studies (with David Barash), the standard text in the field, The Politics of Rationality, The World as Idea, and 3 books on terrorism. He is now working on the second volume of his trilogy, The Fate of this World and the Future of Humanity: Volume Two, The Reality of the World.
