Konstantinos Kalligiannis developed a strong interest and specialization in Branding, while investigating for a potential brand conflict between Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Express for his postgraduate thesis research (which got published by VDM) at Cranfield University (1999). He then continued his research at a doctoral level investigating for potential brand inconsistencies within the airline strategic alliances and got awarded a PhD in Airline Branding also from Cranfield University in 2009.
Konstantinos has 15 years of academic teaching experience and has been delivering courses in more than 10 universities in Europe and the United States. In addition to his sound academic qualifications in branding, he also has extensive industry experience in strategic and operations management mainly focused in the aviation industry. Moreover, he has more than 20 years of consulting experience in a number of countries internationally, while he is very active in delivering professional training courses in the Gulf region.
