Areeba Syed

Areeba Syed is a Ph.D. Scholar in Medical Psychology and Psychopathology at First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University (Prague) and a Junior Researcher at the National Institute of Mental Health (NUDZ), where she investigates “Socio-cultural determinants of the impact of the circulation of representations on the human mind and possibilities for remediation.” With 6+ years of expertise in high-impact social psychology and public health research, she has led projects in pediatric palliative care oncology, maternal health, and early childhood development studies. She serves as an Associate Editor for the Cambridge Journal of Human Behaviour and moderated international conferences like the I-CEPS Congress.
