Graduated at the Faculty of Law of the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest in 2000.
Currently working as an associate professor at the University of New York in Prague and of the Tomori Pál College in Budapest. Currently he also works at the Centre for European Progression, Brussels as general manager and senior policy analyst.
He has joined UNYP in 2018, and conducts courses related to law and international/European law.
Earlier he has been working at the Institute of International Relations, Prague, the National University of Public Service (previously Zrínyi Miklós University of National Defence) in Budapest and at the Eötvös Loránd University (Department of International Law).
His main field of expertise are international humanitarian law, international human rights law, his current research interests are challenges to state sovereignty, international criminal fora, European integration and joint governance, and modern aspects of rules of warfare.
He has been mainly responsible for IHL training within the Hungarian military higher education system in the past 15 years. Author of more than sixty publications and book chapters, co-editor and author of one of the most popular Hungarian international law textbook, published in 2010. He has held more than fifty conference talks and presentations during the past years on issues of human rights, international humanitarian law, law of war and international criminal law.
