Kevan Lyons is an adjunct lecturer at UNYP. He is a qualified Management Accountant with over 20 years’ experience working in multinational corporations and is currently Group Finance Manager at GTS Alive Group, based in Prague.
Kevan has worked in various accounting and finance roles over his career, most recently as Accounting and Reporting Manager with CDK Global (International), and ten years with DPDHL Group in Prague. He has worked in all areas of finance – including financial accounting, joint venture accounting and management accounting & reporting – in industries as varied as information technology, tertiary education, media sales (radio), oil & gas, and utilities.
Following the completion of his MBA in 2011, Kevan joined the School of Business, teaching the ACCA accredited Financial & Managerial Accounting and Corporate Finance courses in the BBA program. He also teaches Financial Strategy in the UNYP MBA program, and previously taught Financial Management & Decision Making in the University of Bolton MSc International Management program.
Kevan is Australian and has been living in Prague since 2005. He is married with two children.
